I see it as a great concept. It's more a tool than a SaaS, and that's OK. It's useful and has a market.

If you need a custom name (shortcode or short name) and you want to send SMS as a no-reply sender, then this isn't your solution.

But if you want to use your own phone number, then this is the way to go.

Of course, you need to install their app on your phone and give it access to your SMS capabilities. It will drain your battery and use your phone provider to send messages, but that's the whole point.
