I miss the option to switch off seo but the tool is awesome. There are lots of text i write in Word that are not webrelated like quotations for clients, mailings, etc. Having all kind of webrecommendations make the optimization process hard to follow, because i don't have a specific keyword or want to use bold and italic to point something out.
It would be very helpful if there would be a switch where i could turn webrelated stuff off/on. Maybe that could be a feature for the next version. But definitly a great and easy to use tool.
If you want to have everything in one, these tools are simply amazing. I love using these tools but one thing I don't like is that 1 credit is deducted if I want to analyze any content for optimization. This is acceptable but after optimizing the content, if you want to see the current score of the content, you need to reanalyze it + deduct 1 credit again. I didn't like it. Many buyers can agree with me on this. Because after optimizing the content in Market Muse, Surfer SEO tools, they don't deduct any extra credit to see the score. So I would like to ask the Textmetrics team to consider the issue I mentioned. But, I like other features of your tool.

Hi, thank you for your review! Happy to hear that you like Textmetrics!
I got this for the Word plugin...mainly I wanted to have an AI assistant embedded into desktop Word. Right now, a Textmetrics plugin is available but it is not at full speed. The AI writing is limited to rewriting long sentences but you can't use it to expand text or summarize existing text. Tech support was responsive and said they are working on expanding the AI in Word, but there are Word-specific limitations, because you can't embed the AI directly into that little mini-menu that overlays selected text.
I'm also nonplussed by AI analysis features that seem entirely set up to dumb down your writing. A lot of the "complicated" words it picks up are words that are key to the article. Also, I'm not going to stop using the word "however" just because someone labels it old-fashioned. So I'm a little concerned that tools like this are just encouraging people to have shallow minds and bad reading comprehensive. Without complex sentences, we would have never had Charles Dickenson. :-P Just my 2 cents.
However, the tool has some useful features and is promising. I'll probably keep it in hopes they expand the AI assistant in Word.
I purchased this product when it was called WebTextTools and used it to rank my first business. I've stopped using it because my new business doesn't use Wordpress. What a pleasant surprise to find it here again, and to see all of the upgrades to the tool I've missed! The primary reason I upgraded to one more code (I had two before) was to support this amazing company.
I'm so glad that the team included the Sumolings in the upgrades to the account, and gave me an opportunity to add additional users among the AI tools.
I've started optimizing my homepage, and it looks like I have some work to do!
If you are reading this and the deal is active, be sure and get this now. I can't believe that they are back, and that we have the opportunity once again.
I have Neuronwriter and this tool completes it. It works well as it displays good results. I wish the rephrasing went a little faster, it takes about 8 seconds. Wish thinking time goes down to 2 seconds. I have to apply it to around 20 phrases on average per page.
