Q: Hi Dino,
I was gonna upgrade before the deal ends (only less than 2 hours left...)
, but the problem below concerns me and discourages me from upgrading.... Could you please help me look into what might have happened?
1. I used 1.75K source words to translate two webpages and two images, but the translation didn’t show up on the Project” and “memory”. Therefore, I'm not able to pull up code to paste the javascript snippet, neither could I see any translation in my account or my site ....
2. I already installed TextUnited WP plugin and entered all setting and API, selected the language & flag translation button to display in the menu, but it’s not there; I don’t see translation button anywhere on the website I manage.
Did I miss any step, or there's technical glitches....? (I hope I could still get the upgrade if you don't get to see this post before the deal ends....)Thank you.
You can translate only existing content (pages or posts for example) into any language(s) you choose. You can install the plugin on any WordPress website but you will need to have access to the WordPress installation and rights to install plugins.
Yes, words translated by you, as well as the machine. If you use your monthly allowance you will not be able to do create or translate projects. In case you use the monthly allowance, you are able to top it up and purchase additional words packages from our marketplace.
Anything you translate is saved in the translation memory, so if you have identical text in any future projects,...

Q: Would TextUnited be suitable for translating custom fields in Custom Post Types created using Pods in WordPress?
I'm specifically thinking about translating content for the WP REST API JSON feed to an app that would select different languages.
Would each language be selectable in the app using a different base URL unique for each language?

Q: Hi, Is this a suitable replacement for WPML?
So, for example, could we use this to create additional translated pages in various languages on our WordPress websites for clients?
Thanks.

May 14, 2024A: Hi there,
You can translate only existing content (pages or posts for example) into any language(s) you choose.
You can install the plugin on any WordPress website but you will need to have access to the WordPress installation and rights to install plugins.
Hope that helps.

Q: Hi there, Flutter is getting more and more widespread.
Do you plan to support .arb files in the future?

May 14, 2024A: Hi Cheng,
Great question. We are discussing adding support of .arb files. It's probably not going to happen before Q2 2022.
Thanks!

Q: Hi.
just to check, does "50,000 new source words per month" mean 50,000 machine-translated words per month?
Thanks!

May 14, 2024A: Hi,
It means both machine and words translated by you and your team.
Thanks for the question.

Hi, words translated by me too? What happens if I exceed the quota? Will I be unable to save that text?
And in the case of words that have already been translated in previous months, will they enter the quota for future months?
Thanks!
