The Busy App

    Lifetime deal

Manage your work-life balance better by using your calendar to automate your email responses

Remembering to set your email autoresponder is always a drag, especially if you have unique working patterns or work part-time.

Our unique software combines your calendar with your email.

Simply set up an event in your calendar and write a customer description, and The Busy App will do the rest.

Don't work on Fridays? Always leave early to pick up the kids on a Wednesday?

No problem; with recurring events, setting up time away from your emails is as easy as putting an event in your Google Workspace calendar.

n.b This product works with Google Workspace only. Emails ending in .gmail.com or googlemail.com will not work.

Set up an event in your calendar.

In the event description, write the message that you want to be sent to people who emailed you during that time period.

The event can repeat, so setting up responses for the time you not working is as easy to set up as an event in Google Calendar.

    From the founders

    Welcome to Busy!

    Hey, awesome Sumo-ling community!

It's Art from Busy here! I started Busy out of pure frustration. I used to travel a lot for work and often had to be away from my emails. Having my Out-of-Office auto-reply helped. It meant I didn't have to worry about my emails and was also helpful for people trying to get hold of me. The problem was that I always needed to remember to turn it on. Buried in the settings and restrictive in its functionality, I never got around to setting it, and I often paid the price when I arrived back at work. I wanted something more intuitive and visual, so I built The Busy App (www.thebusyapp.com). I've been amazed at how people use Busy; those who work flexibly seem to have taken to it the most. Customers book out time to focus on the school run rather than panicking about emails. Some use it to practice deep work uninterrupted, and some have a weekly recurring event they want to focus on. All of these uses aren't how I first imagined people would use Busy, but the fact Busy is linked so seamlessly to your calendar means that you can use it in any way that feels right for you. In this deal, I've given lifetime access to our most popular package at a fraction of the cost. With this package, there are no limits to the number of emails Busy will send for you or how many Busy events you can set. You can also set the app to send emails only to people in your organization if you wish, and you'll be able to get as much support as you need from us via email (hello@thebusyapp.com).

Here are the top five questions we get asked by people using Busy:

Is it available for Microsoft 365?

Not just yet, but we're working on it.

Do I have to be an admin?

You do, or you need someone with admin rights to allow you to use the app. We're working on making this a smoother process, but for now, admins are required.

Will it work for regular Gmail?

Unfortunately, not at the moment. It's designed for Google Workplace only

Can I use it for recurring events?

100%. Busy is another calendar in your Google Calendar, so you can now do anything you can do with a calendar event with your autoresponder; cool, right?!
