This DIY kit came with all the materials and instructions, but you still have to go through it line by line and interpret what the writer of the kit intended and figure some things out on your own. However, if you purchased the DIY kit AND the author of the kit to help walk you through step-by-step how to build the shelf, you would get through the project faster and retain more for your next project. My book is like the DIY kit. You have everything you need. But, you still have to do it alone, and you might wonder, "Ok, am I filling out this worksheet as Stormie intended."
