I bought multiple deals based on the exceptional price - however in using this tool - its been nothing but a problem. It appears that if you have duplicates or blank cells in a client file - they will block your account and consider it a violation of spam policy.
In essence you will need to pre-clean a file - check for duplicates and any other data issues. I don't need to do this with other verification tools.
I think there data verification process is OK, just the way they validate your file prior to running the veriification.
The system works. Here are 2 situations where it doesn't:
1/ say for example you have a file with 10,000 rows. If there is a single character in that entire file that the checker doesn't like the entire output will be corrupt. They know this and have no intention of fixing it. Its probably a very simple fix. Too bad.
2/ If you want to clean a list that has more than just email the its not practical. See point 1.
Its too bad they can't include some basic error detection and simply remove or ignore the offending record.
I decided to test Checker against some of it's competitors and one thing that stood out for me was that Checker did not allow the user to continue if the field is invalid which is what should happen. The other competitors don't do this. They allow the user to continue which means that the invalid email gets added to the contact list just the same which defeats the purpose of preventing bad data from entering your database. That alone deserves more than 5 tacos.
I was excited to purchase this deal through app sumo as my agency strongly relies on cold email for prospecting. However, it's giving me an error message "Your account is currently locked due to suspicious activity, please contact us through the chat if you'd like to unlock it." so I can't even use this tool to clean my email list which is a joke... I just bought this deal and didn't even do anything other than uploaded my CSV, how is this suspicious...? Going to request a refund.
