Big Thoughts on Thoughtly
TLDR: A beautifully inspiring blend of practical Ai software that will cut your need for an in-person call attendant. There's a ton of features that make this deal a worthy keeper, and I do hope the devs keep working on it.
THE GOOD - I immediately snagged the highest tier because of the value proposition here - this can handle business calls for all of my employees every month (if you know how to set up the agent workflows properly).
The Agent creation and training systems are pretty good, easy to use and straightforward - I haven't seen anything here that left me scratching my head or asking for support.
The fact that this software uses its own credits to purchase phone numbers is a great feature - I don't need to get a number externally and pay for it.
They have a TON of voices that are created by Eleven Labs (or so they claim) and I've found some very convincing voices, however don't place any bets on them sounding completely real or fooling any modern internet user.
Lots of features ive yet to use such as SMS and even a somewhat call-spoofing looking feature?
Using this with even a little competency will elevate the perception of a small business to a much bigger one when clients call or receive calls with your custom agents.
COULD BE BETTER:
Agents speak fast- an option to slow the speed down would be good.
Agents sometimes rush the caller to respond and keep asking the same question in a loop without giving the user time to answer.
A VERY common issue with all agents I've created is that they ask "if there's anything else i can help you with please let me know" then immediately ends the call. Please fix this...
The integrations are deceptively written at first glance : On the platform there is a section that claims that you can integrate with over 7000 apps, however, these are through Zapier and not native integrations - And while I do appreciate that the platform utilizes my own monthly credits as payments for extra features that would normally exist externally , Zapier is not one of them, and you do need to have an account for this integration. Native integrations are about 14 apps.
A BUG OR SOMETHING:
I'm currently in Trinidad and Tobago, and I've added a team member that is in the USA - When i look at the integrations page, I can only see 2 native integrations appear. My team member in the USA can see 13 app integrations on that same page. So, i connected to a VPN USA server and reloaded the page and the 13 app integrations appear. Is there a reason seems to be region-locked? I would appreciate using the handful of native integrations you offer since i don't have an expensive Zapier account, *Pabbly-Connect would be a Godsend* wink wink.
Overall this really adds some umami to my palette for actual useful Ai tools, we really needed something like this to show what's possible. I do pray the developers are successful and stay hungry and keep working on this platform - because it does need work, but the sky is very high here and its a brilliant start. I'm happy with my Purchase, 5 TACOS!
