mirajadesignQ: One time AI credits? Shouldn't this be a monthly limit? Otherwise what's the point?
I'm very interested in this offering. I would need the tier 4 option in order to use it with SureCart (my favorite e-commerce system!) But I'm curious about the "one-time AI credits." I can't find any information on this AppSumo listing or on the ThriveDesk website about it. What happens when we run out of credits? Your resource center AI bot indicates that the AI credits renew each month, but that doesn't appear to be true with the AppSumo plan.
"Obtaining More Credits: Credits are allocated monthly based on your subscription tier, and can also be purchased in bundles.
If you reach your credit limit, your bot continues to function; however, users will be prompted to try again later."

It seems like a very important oversight not to have a FAQ for this. Please clarify this for us.

To clarify: on AppSumo plans, the AI credits are one-time only. This is different from our subscription plans, where credits renew each month. The reason for this is sustainability—providing recurring AI credits on a lifetime deal simply isn’t viable in the long run, since every AI provider charges for token usage on an ongoing basis.

Thank you for the reply @parvez. Please let us know if we can have an auto-recharge feature for purchasing credits. It would be good to have the ability for the AI features to never go offline, should one choose to utilize the features. Also, can you confirm if it may be possible to use our own OpenAI API key as another option?
Yes, auto-recharge will be possible once we have your card on file. At the moment, BYOK isn’t available, but it’s something we may consider in the future. Our main focus is long-term sustainability over short-term gain, and I hope you can understand that approach.
