I have been using Thrivedesk for some time now and am satisfied overall. Compared to Intercom and Help Scout, Thrivedesk stands out in particular for its strong focus on data protection (hosting in the EU) and AI features. It seems deliberately designed to meet the requirements of European companies. For startups in the EU, this is a clear advantage over larger US providers such as Intercom, which often require additional steps for GDPR compliance, and over Help Scout, whose pricing structure may be less attractive for some smaller teams. In terms of cost, I find Thrivedesk to be very competitively priced: The plans are fairly priced, core features are available in lower-priced plans, and the price/performance ratio is very good for small to medium-sized teams — especially compared to Intercom, where features quickly become more expensive. Thrivedesk thus offers real added value for budget-conscious companies. Room for improvement:
- iOS app: I hope it comes soon!
- Automation features: Automations are available, but still seem somewhat limited compared to Intercom's sophisticated flows or the integration options offered by some competitors. Specific improvements would include: advanced conditional logic, simple visualization/editor for workflows, and deeper integrations with third-party tools.

All in all: Thrivedesk offers a very good package (help desk, self-service, ticketing, live chat, and AI).
