Excellent, but lacking in a few features
TidyCal is a great alternative to Calendly, but lacks a few simple functions to make it truly a comparable option.
1. Multi-format meeting options - You can either set up for in person meetings, phone meetings, or Zoom meetings, but not give the visitor the option to choose which best suits their needs. As a Wedding professional that is essential to me.
2. Scheduling deviations - Instead of only marking unavailable dates, give us the option to give either unavailable for a date, OR alternate scheduling for that date. This would match Calendly's capabilities which also allow you to mark unavailable for a date range and not just one day at a time.
3. (Give us more) Go beyond Calendly with branding - I love that I can add branding to my account, but I wish I could brand different scheduling interfaces with branding appropriate to the scheduling interface. For example, I own an LLC with two active DBA's, I would love to have the DBA branding on each booking interface for their respective sides of my business.
Ultimately right now TidyCal isn't going to be able to replace my Calendly subscription, on points 1 and 2, this is simply a matter of time. I have to spend more time on blacking out dates which is inefficient for my business. But if these two become integrated into the TidyCal functions, I will be more than happy to dump Calendly for TidyCal, it's a great deal, I just need an equally efficient system to make the switch for good. And if AppSumo/TidyCal implemented option 3, I would commit completely to dumping Calendly and only using TidyCal.
