This product is not ready yet, at least: not for other languages
It's impressive how quickly AppSumo made this product and of course the price is... wauw.
That having said, I would have rather payed 2 or 3 times more for a more 'grown up' version of it. They launched it a bit too soon in my opinion, it's bare bones.
.
Sure, it's super cheap, but in the end I need something professional for my business.
Right now, I can't use it. I am Dutch and the form fields and email messages contain a lot of weird translations. Formal 'u' is mixed with informal 'jij', the date and time format are off and the filled questions and answers show up incorrectly in my confirmation emial (A show up behind a previous question etc.)
.
Also, when I try to connect with Zoom it gives me a message that the app can watch the recordings, read messages etc. etc. Maybe it's a standard warning, but I've never seen an app being able to have so much insights - bit hesitant to connect out of security reasons.
.
Of course, English users might have a very different experience, but still.. don't you want to be able to send a more personalized confirmation message, in line with your overal tone of voice? I would have wanted to connect TidyCal with my email marketing software to do just that, but.. how do I switch off the automatic email confirmations? Is it even possible at all?
.
I wish the product all the best and might keep it for the upcoming weeks to see if they will release updates, but for now I am unfortunately unable to use it. 4 taco's though as English users will not have the language issues mentioned and well, I just hope they will release updates soon and keep improving the product.

May 9, 2024Hey, Sumo-liiiing! Thanks for your review here. Wanted to touch on a few things...
1) Languages - The Dutch language translation was provided by another TidyCal user. In fact, ALL our language translations are provided by users. They provide the translations, and we just add them to our tool. If you have better grammar or terminology, just send us an email at [email protected] and we can easily update the translations.
2) The Zoom privacy has very little to do with our product. Zoom has become more privacy-centric over the past few months, so the new warnings they display are across all apps — not just ours. It's a change they made on their side to be more transparent, and we have nothing to do with it.
Hope that helps! Thanks for being a TidyCal customer.
