Tier 2 feels misleading
We felt misled on what Tier 2 included. It certainly does not allow for "unlimited" accounts to what we'd believe to be a functioning product. Candidly, I never knew there was a tier lower than Tier 1 so was surprised to learn that other teammates needed to additionally purchase a Tier 1 license at minimum to leverage the functionality at Tier 2 the way it was designed.
When contacting support/sales at both Tidycal/Appsumo, the responses were slow and unhelpful to come to a middle ground.
Though Tidycal is still a better economic choice than a PEPM competitor, i'd advise others to leave ample time to test this solution so that you can get a refund if you don't want to deal with the nuances the more expensive tools don't have.

Dec 11, 2024Hey, jordan753! Thanks for your honest review here.
We've talked about this quite a bit in the Q&A area (feel free to search around for answers), but the teammates you invite/add to your team as a Tier 2 owner can be *any* tier level. And you can invite unlimited team members.
These team members can be all on the Free plan. All on the Tier 1 plan. All on the Tier 2 plan. Or any combination you want. Again, there's no requirement they're all on Tier 1 or Tier 2 to be invited/added. In other words, your team members do not need Tier 1 at a minimum to leverage their being part of a team.
Whatever plan the team members are on, they will have the restrictions of that plan. For many people, that works fine. For others, it doesn't. But again, that's the freedom to choose what tier each team member is on — and they can even join unlimited teams on the Free plan.
