Very limited no updates
It's very limited. You have to go through each booking appointment and put all of the requirements on each exact appointment. You can't universally add questions, reminders, or anything else.
You can't add customers or clients to your calendar without going through their side of the booking app. So you have the same limitations that a client has.
You can't reschedule a client if it's after the time that they should have been seen. Today I had an emergency and couldn't see a client we rescheduled for tomorrow but when I went in to try and move their appointment I can't. And it's my stupid software!
This would be very good if you're just having 15 minute or 30 minute free calls that you don't care about your clients because they're not customers yet.
But so far appsumo doesn't care about updating because it's such a cheap product. So they just keep it the same. And it's not functional for customers that you want to have a relationship with.
Two tacos for me because it is good for people that are trying to find potential customers but not if you care about the relationship of customers you already have.

Dec 27, 2024Hey, 4essentialbalance! Thanks for your honest review here. Sorry to hear about the frustrations you had.
Wanted to make sure to be clear on one thing: No idea where you got the fact that we're not updating our product. In 2024 alone, we released 273 pull requests according to our GitHub (bug fixes, major features, quality-of-life fixes, etc.). In total, that's literally thousands of lines of code changed to make the product better.
For years, we've been the best value in the world for a calendar product — bar none. There are no competitors at this price point that even come close (we study our competitors carefully). We're looking forward to continue to make TidyCal stand out on insane value, and if the past is any indication, you can expect another few hundred updates in 2025. We can't wait.
