Yes. If/when a model becomes unavailable, we’ll replace it with the closest equivalent option, so lower tiers won’t be left without working AI. The exact replacement will depend on the conditions of that future date.

Even with BYO API key, Tier 7 isn't "free" for us to support. Higher tiers help fund the extra work and infrastructure behind advanced access, like:

- maintaining multiple model integrations + updates when providers change things
- faster feature development (agents/tools, routing, memory, etc.)
- higher limits and advanced capabilities that come with premium tiers
- ongoing platform costs (hosting, storage, search/indexing, analytics, support)

So Tier 7 is less about "paying for tokens" and more about unlocking the full platform + advanced model options.
