Q: whats app without seat?

As you know "WhatsApp integration requires a Facebook login and working phone number to register a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). There can be further requirements during onboarding. We advise this to be done by the account owner.
If you're not the Facebook and WABA account owner, then you need to invite your client as a member to your workspace which requires a seat."

We are trying to give our clients a free chatbot (its why we bought tier 7), the only way to do that is by not buying a seat. is there a way to just have the cleint onboarded as a non seat guest where they can add their accounts /fb/whats app or anything needed. that way there are no roadblocks. as Right now this software is unusable if we cant get around this issue?

A: Hi!

I totally understand what you’re trying to do, but:

WhatsApp onboarding isn’t just a Tiny Talk permission; it’s a Meta/Facebook login + WABA ownership + phone verification flow. The person who owns the WhatsApp Business assets should complete that step.

If you don’t want to share logins (which we also don’t recommend), then the only secure way is: invite the client into the workspace so they can connect their own Meta/WABA — and that requires a seat.

If you want to avoid seats entirely, the alternative is that you (the agency) own/manage the WhatsApp assets under your own Meta Business Manager and connect them yourself — but that means you’re the owner of the phone/WABA and responsible for it long-term.

We don’t support a ā€œnon-seat guest who can connect WhatsApp,ā€ because that would effectively grant admin-level integration access.

Hope this provides a clarification.

All the best,
Oscar
