UPDATED Great Tool - Worth the Learning Curve

Updated to 5 stars - the major bug, not being able to rename the nodes has been fixed already! Great follow up and communication from the support team.
==========
I really appreciate the direction and current functionality of TinyCommand. I did a video on the experience of building out a workflow from beginning to end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fa-POEkuFso

It is a thoughtfully developed tool that makes data collection and AI-enabled and agentic automations accessible. I made an AI assistant using n8n last year, but now TinyCommand has most of the same features plus integrated features that make the building process a lot more efficient.

As with all tools, there is a learning curve. The way some nodes in automations are named is not always intuitive. Some of the unique nodes (like data enrichment) take some time to figure out how to configure to get the outputs you are looking for.

I ran into a couple of bugs/user experience issues. In the form, when I change a node the AI auto-generated, it took a while to figure out why the form could not be published. On the incredibly bright side, I was able to successfully integrate Reoon into the form workflow (without creating a separate workflow).

In TinyWorkflows, I kept getting an error message upon trying to publish the workflow. Apparently, there was a phantom element of the AI-generated nodes I deleted. I figured it out, but it took a while. Also, I could not rename the nodes. The system kept reverting back to the default node name.

It would be great if the error messages that popped up on screen were more specific and communicated with the AI helper in each of the tools.

TinySheets functions like Googles sheets with integrated AI capabilities at the field/column level. All forms automatically generate a sheet. It is not a database and is limited to 10,000 rows (Google sheets can have 100,000). Pushing data from TinyCommand to a primary database will address the row limitations and ability to get intelligence from the system.

It would be nice to be able to pre-add authorized apps without having to wait until you build a workflow (and save HTTP Requests for reuse).

We also need more detailed videos and documentation with step-by-step explanations.

Check out the video to see if its right for you. Overall, I love the tool. If the bugs are fixed, I will update to 5 tacos.

Really appreciate you taking the time to go this deep and even create a full video walkthrough, that means a lot.Great to hear you were able to replicate what you built earlier on n8n and get more efficiency out of it here. That’s exactly the direction we’re pushing towards.

Also, thank you for calling out the rough edges so clearly. Node naming, error clarity, and some of the workflow quirks you...

Surprisingly powerful forms and automation in one place

I initially started using TinyCommand just because the forms were free for life. That alone made me switch from tools like SurveyMonkey and others since it didn’t make sense to keep paying when this was available.

But once I started using it, I realized it’s not just a basic form tool. What really stood out is that you can run API calls and do data enrichment even between questions inside the form. I haven’t seen that in other form tools where everything usually happens only before or after submission. This made our forms feel much more dynamic and useful.

Another thing I liked is the built-in email and phone verification. It’s just a toggle, but it ensures the data we collect is actually valid, which is important for us when coordinating volunteers.

After exploring more, it became clear that TinyCommand is more than just forms. We can quickly create forms using AI, enrich the collected data in TinyTables with one click, and then trigger workflows like sending Slack notifications to the team whenever a new submission comes in. This has made our entire process more connected and less manual.

What I liked:

Free forms with much more capability than expected
Ability to run API calls and enrich data inside the form flow itself
Native email and phone verification for cleaner data
Easy form creation using AI
Smooth connection between forms, tables, and workflows

What could be better:

Custom form URL support would help build more trust when sharing links with volunteers
Search in tables highlights results but doesn’t take you to them, so you have to scroll manually to locate each match

Overall, TinyCommand turned out to be more than just a form builder. It feels like a connected system where data collection, enrichment, and actions all happen in one place.

Really appreciate you sharing this in such detail. Love how you came in for forms and ended up using the full system, that’s exactly the journey we hope people have.

Great callouts on mid-form API calls and verification as well. Clean, usable data from the start is something we care a lot about.

Also noted on custom form URLs and table search behavior. Both are valid points and already on our...

Right balance of automation power and human intervention

TinyCommand has been a game-changer for streamlining workflows. We’ve used it for vendor onboarding and review processes, where automation handles data collection while human intervention ensures approval accuracy. It strikes the right balance between efficiency and control, helping teams scale operations without adding complexity. Highly recommended for anyone serious about operational efficiency!

Automation + human control is exactly the balance we’re aiming for 🙌

Most tools go all-in on automation or stay fully manual. We’re trying to sit in the middle - automate the repetitive parts, but keep humans in the loop where it actually matters (like approvals, reviews, decisions).
Great to hear you’re using it for vendor onboarding - that’s a perfect use case.

Appreciate you sharing this 👍

Solid tool, one of my best finds on AppSumo

Picked up TinyCommand out of curiosity, and it turned out to be a solid addition to my workflow. I like how it combines forms, workflows, data, and AI in one place, saving a lot of tool switching.
The AI workflow setup is a real time-saver for automations and lead flows. Still early in some areas, but definitely promising.
Would love better language support also Gleap, Chatway and LMS integrations in future updates.

Really appreciate you sharing this and glad it’s already adding value to your workflow.
Great callout on the AI setup as well, that’s exactly where we’re focusing to save time on real use cases.

Noted on language support and integrations like Gleap, Chatway, and LMS. This is exactly the kind of input we prioritize as we plan our next updates, so stay tuned.

Thanks again for the support.
