Good question. There's no "run analysis" button on the sitemap page because the gap analysis doesn't actually happen there. Importing a sitemap just stores your existing pages; the analysis runs when you create an SEO map and point it at that sitemap.

Here's the flow:

1. Start a new SEO map.
2. In the setup, choose the "use my existing sitemap" option and pick the one you imported.
3. Generate the map.

The map that comes out tags each topic as covered, partial, or gap based on the pages already in your sitemap so you can see at a glance what you've written about versus where the gaps are. That tagging is the gap analysis; it lives in the map, not on the sitemap page.

The sitemap page's wording oversells what it does on its own, which is exactly what tripped you up I'm tightening that copy so it points you straight to the SEO map step instead. Thanks for flagging it.
