Q: Booking question form
My UK clinic has ten doctors.
I want to enable two options:
Option 1. Patient does not have a specific preference for a particular doctor. They fill in a booking form (Ask what brings them in, such as panic, relationship conflict, postpartum, loss; whether this is their first time in therapy; and any preferences like online vs in-person).
Option A (within option 1): All doctors get to see the request, and one of them picks it up from the board as "their patient" and contacts them to book an appointment.
Option B (within option 1): Clinic owner reviews it manually, contacts the relevant doc and passes on the patient info to the doc.
Option 2: Patient have a specific preference for a particular doctor. They still fill in a booking form, and book a 15 mins consultation with them to see if they are good fit.

You can:
- Use booking forms with custom questions (reason for visit, preferences, first visit, etc.)
- Let patients choose a specific doctor and book a short consultation (works well for your Option 2)
- Or let them book with “any available doctor”
What’s not possible:
- Doctors can’t see incoming requests and claim them from a board
- There’s no internal review/assignment step before booking
Workaround:
Use random employee selection, set the default status to Pending, review the appointment, and manually change the doctor
