Q: I have a cell phone repair company.
Customers can choose to bring their device into the store or have one of our technicians meet them at their location. Currently, we use two separate platforms to achieve this with ZenBooker being the one for repair at their location. Can this be configured to give them the option of choosing one of our stores or selecting and adding their address information?
If they select a service at their location, can we add a travel fee, and can that be calculated by distance?
If this isn't already a feature, is it in the works or planned?
This would work for a number of businesses like Mobile Notaries, hair stylists, etc.

May 15, 2024A: Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us. As "CCMedia" said this is a tricky one but we can offer you a solution and we hope this works for you.
You can create 2 services one where the customers will bring device to the store and for this, you can create several employees that will work on several locations and for the service that you will go to the customer's address you can possibly achieve this with our extras option.
You can set the duration for extras so that you know how long the appointment will last but unfortunately, we do not have a travel fee option. But you can for example create extras and name them for example like this 0-10 km, 10-20km,30+, etc. Perhaps this option will work for your use case. as for adding their address information you can achieve this with our custom fields option. Custom fields can come in handy for all info that you need from the customer prior to the appointment. With this option you can gather any data that you might require.
Best regards.
That's a tricky one, In the app you can give each location it's own booking page with an instore booking or create a custom form the client to enter their address, service request, and contract info. You can add custom pricing, but I think you can only do a flat rate. The good thing is you can do a No Show fee or cancellation fee. I also believe they are beta testing Google Reserve integration. Hope that helps.
Thanks, I was really hoping for a solution to my needs for in-store and on-site services but that all sounds like workarounds. I appreciate your time!
