I just recorded a video and twice over it said transcription failed. I now choose the no editing option, is it possible to still create transcriptions? I also can't download the file so I feels like I have to do it all over now...

A: Hi, I’m really sorry about that. The system was unstable when you tried, but it should be working now.
Yes, you should still be able to transcribe the recording and edit it. Please try again, and if it still doesn’t work, you can download the file and re-upload it to start the transcription again.
Sorry again for the inconvenience this caused. Feel free to reach out directly via the chat...

A: Hi LarryCPA, Trebble is mainly built around text-based editing, so the audio/video needs to be transcribed first for the editing workflow to work properly.
Once it’s transcribed, you can trim the episode, clean it up, and add things like intro/outro music or audio. But if you’re looking to edit only on a waveform/timeline without using the transcript at all, Trebble may not be the best fit...
Q: Can Trebble record audio directly from the screen
Can Trebble record audio directly from the screen, making it suitable for podcast creation? It would be helpful to know if the tool can capture both the presenter's voice and any audio playing on the screen simultaneously. Also, could it handle basic editing tasks like trimming and noise reduction to prepare the audio for podcast distribution?

A: Trebble currently focuses on recording your voice and helping you edit/clean it up for spoken audio, including trimming and voice cleanup. Directly capturing computer/screen audio from inside a browser is possible in some desktop browsers, but it requires the browser’s screen-sharing flow and depends on the user’s browser/OS. We’re evaluating adding this as a “record microphone + computer...
