Q: add a waveform for editing also ?
We need a visual view ie audio waveform along thee timeline,
so if we clicked on the waveform it would show the word in the transcript and if we clicked on a word in the transcript it would show the place on the waveform
and with the waveform being able to zoom in
then we could make precise cuts when there is a little discrepancy when editing using words
ie select part of waveform to cut out or choose words to cut out, both options available at the same time.
can you add this ?
thanks

Dec 24, 2024A: Thank you for your feedback. It’s greatly appreciated! I understand the value of having a waveform for precise editing. However, we believe adding waveform support would address a symptom rather than fully solving the core issue.
Our focus is on improving the platform to make editing more precise and seamless directly through text, reducing the need for waveform altogether. This includes:
- More precise transcriptions to ensure accuracy.
- Smart cuts for better precision.
- AI-powered solutions to handle audio issues that can’t be resolved through text-based editing alone.
That said, we do have waveform support for fixing timestamp discrepancies, though it’s not a heavily promoted feature. I’ve noted your suggestion and will keep it in mind as we continue enhancing Trebble to make editing even more efficient and reliable.
Thank you again for helping us improve!

You believe that ? There will always be small discrepancies with transcription, and a waveform would be the most effective way to deal with it. So looks like you just don't want to make it the best for the user. In denial
