Q: Hello I tested the congratulations tool, I find it very good.
Easy to use and effective. It's great.
However, I have a few questions.
- I noticed that the export had degraded the quality of the audio that I had uploaded 128KHz > 44.1Khz. Do you plan to keep the same quality when exporting? Is it the same with videos? I'm planning to work with 4k videos.
- Some cuts are a bit rough. Is there a technique that will eventually soften the transitions to make them less perceptive?
- I tested the "adjust cuts" feature, but couldn't use it. I've been able to view the audio, but I can't manipulate it other than moving the selector... is this normal?
Some similar solutions offer more than affordable deals, but I hope trebble will eventually stand out from the crowd and be even more attractive.

May 15, 2024A: Hello user482,
Thank you for giving Trebble a try.
Here are some answers to your questions:
- Trebble creates an mp3 version of your audio and wav version. The mp3 version is at 320kpbs with 44.1khz or 48khz depending on your browser. The quality is not degraded. If you hear some artifacts in the file that is created, it might have to do with our magic sound enhancer. Were you using the magic sound enhancer in your edits? Regarding the video, we convert the video into an MP4 file which might cause a slight loss of quality. At the moment, we do not have any plan to change that. That said, I am happy to chat with you about it to better understand your needs
- Regarding the rough cuts. I am going to assume to refer to rough cuts on videos. We are already doing an automatic crossfade between cuts in the audio to smooth things out. For the video, we don't have any plans shortly.
- I am not sure I understand what you mean. Here is a link to our documentation on how the "Adjust trim" feature works https://help.trebble.fm/hc/en-us/articles/17336513565716-How-to-adjust-the-start-and-end-of-a-word-after-an-automated-transcription-mistake. Are you able to use it like that?
Will you be open to discussing those issues on a quick Zoom call? If not we can continue to exchange messages here
Hello Armel for these very clear answers which suits me perfectly.
For "Adjust trim", I understand much better with your feedback and the documentation. Indeed, I did not understand the principle. I thought it was to improve cuts, but I did not see how to do it and changing a phrase that we do not modify is not really useful.
So we have to adjust the word before the cut, save it and then remove it. And then it cuts nikkel! :)
Thank you very much and congratulations for your work. Keep going like this
I am happy to read that my answer was helpful. Let me know if you have any other question.
