I’m giving this 4 out for 5 to make room for growth.

Hear me when I say I do not typically do reviews of products, largely because I’m not always sure I’m getting the most value out of them., but this one is different.

The good is VERY VERY good and the bad is not so bad.

What’s good:
1. simple straightforward product. does what it does well
2. VERY responsive, active developer who has a clear vision for improving the product
3. INCREDIBLE VALUE for what it does.
4. All processing happens locally on your machine (this is direct from the dev himself) and NOT sever-side, or in the cloud, so you’re not being mined for voice or other data surreptitiously.

What's Not so Bad
1. The interface is a bit stark and that might intimidate neophytes (like me)
2. Your work IS saving despite there being NO indication of this. This can be terrifying.
3. Processing long files can take a WHILE

What is promising:
I have faith that this dev is building this product to be a real contender in the marketplace. it is already useful and strong, it has the potential to be a power house.

THIS IS A GOOD DEAL.
