Good tool for editing audio
Two things I liked about this.
First, the ability to edit the transcript, and have part of my audio deleted or moved around. But, it is only for deletions and moving around sounds. (You can't add new text because this tool does not clone your voice.) It's easier to edit words, than it is to look at waveforms in Audacity and Ocenaudio.
Second, it also detects the silences, and represents the silences with a dot. If you don't like the silence, you can delete the dot. That trims the silence.
A good tool. It has a lot of potential and it is in a very special niche. Its real competitors are Descript and Hindenburg. It's a very small set of competitors. The other tools which allow you to transcribe recordings don't allow you to make changes to the audio. All they do is extract the text, and maybe use AI to summarize the transcript. So, if you've read this review, you'll know that it is a very special tool. Worth stacking up if you're making podcasts and e-learning courses.
Disclosure, I've used this tool to edit two very long audio recordings.
