Trello is an online project management tool that helps you maximize collaboration and improve productivity by making it easy to organize and track tasks and projects.

Get started with a Trello board in seconds using cards to organize tasks and projects. Start a new card for each project or task. On each card, you can break down bigger tasks into steps, using reminders, checklists, comments, file attachments, and reactions to update the task’s status.

Trello allows you to view this board data from different angles. The Kanban view is what Trello is best known for, allowing you to visualize your project in terms of task status or progress. Drag and drop the cards to move them along the sprint.

The timeline view shows you how all the moving pieces relate to one another and come together over time. Drag and drop dates to make changes in real time, and see what’s coming up next in the sprint.

Calendar view is great for staying on top of individual to-dos and due dates across multiple boards. You can sync your third-party calendars to Trello so that you have all your upcoming deadlines, meetings, and events in one place.

The Workspace table view shows you all the work across multiple boards in a view that resembles a spreadsheet. To find what you’re looking for, add, sort, and filter cards within the table.

With the dashboard view, you can build reports based on specific data like due dates or card assignments. Customize charts to show project progress and tasks in a layout that’s easy to read. This type of visualization makes it easy for you to get a bird’s eye view of your team’s workload and progress so you can make real-time decisions.

Trello also offers a map view, which displays location-based data on an interactive map. This is ideal for even planning, field work, and any other projects that require your team to travel.

Trello’s built-in automation tool, Butler, helps you reduce tedious tasks on your project board. Butler uses natural language commands to automate just about every type of task from moving lists to scheduling team assignments.

Trello integrates with a ton of tools you already know and love like Slack, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft Teams. The software also features “power-ups,” or apps that add additional functionality like backing up your boards or tracking expenses.
