The first key here is the pricing structure, where AppSumo holds multiple capped tiers that covers most of the personal/small team needs, our own yearly offer was more for bulk/enterprise usage. Plus, AppSumo has webhook in one of it’s tiers where the yearly doesn’t.
Since the product fits in between B2C and B2B, we got requests from both of the markets for a capped LTD, and an uncapped yearly offer.
Secondly, there are some heavily-requested upcoming features that will only be later added to AppSumo users first, and then will be mass-released. Since you’re already familiar with the product, grabbing one of these licenses will be completely worthwhile.
