I've had this app since sept. 2023 and in the beginning I was like "yeah this is going the right direction". But with each itteration the app gets more and more limited. Genres are still limited to a few, the music is still editable with melody and drums variations only. And the variations are mediocre at best. You can't choose/edit any parameters in the drums/melodies. they make it look like AI is generating this, but there is very limited variation in the next results when you change the drums and melodies.
Also the music list looks appealing at first, but the generation isn't random at all. You keep hearing the same tracks generated over and over again.
At this moment there apears to be a general error when editing tracks. It almost looks like the generation engine is offline.
If this app is made available again on appsumo, please ignore this one!
Whenever I start a new session and log into the site, I hear the same tracks under new names... often with names that don't fit it, nor do the tags (i.e. light/fun on a lofi song that's clearly slow and dark).. Changing melodies causes it have an error. changing drums, bass, chords, etc. - can't quite tell if it made a difference at all. Eh.
Tuney shines with user-friendliness, making music editing a breeze for creators of all skill levels. However, its focus on electronic genres is noticeable. A broader spectrum, including classical styles akin to Einaudi or Aubry and acoustic variations, would be a welcome addition. I give it 4 tacos, with hopes that its good start continues to evolve and diversify.

And about those 'unlimited' downloads per month? Well, turns out there's actually a daily cap. đ It's still a solid platform, especially for an early stage one. Just a heads-up, the support team might take a bit to get back to you. Fingers crossed they keep up the good work on updates and maintenance! đ€
