Built an entire SaaS with it - yes, really
I almost never leave reviews, but I wanted to for this one because it’s been such a great experience.
I’ve built an entire SaaS using Twidget as the main back end and it has worked amazingly well. It’s fast, easy to work with, and has handled everything I needed it to do. I did run into a couple issues here and there, but every time I reached out, support jumped on it and fixed things within a day or two. That alone really impressed me. That level of care is rare.
The only issue I have, which I won't take a star away from because every time I reached they answered right away, is that the knowledgebase is lacking. Twidget has a lot of great features, but for someone that is newer and wants to do something a little more complex, it can sometimes be hard to understand how to use the feature with the lack of videos or articles.
If you’re thinking about getting Twidget, don't wait. Honestly, it’s been totally worth it for me!

Twidget is fantastic and I am pretty sure it will be my best Appsumo buy of 2025!!
I am a hobbyist coder/web dev, and Twidget has just been so much fun! I started out using it kind of like an n8n workflow to make a GET request to a Twidget endpoint to trigger a function, which makes additional API calls to build some tables from the returned information. This then does a bunch of other stuff that puts my kids devices on an internet timeout. Anyway, I am only writing that to show that there is so much that can be done with Twidget. I have moved my brother-in-law's website from Baserow to Twidget and will soon remove the n8n workflow for recording and emailing contact form submissions because Twidget can also replace that functionality.
I have been using it for just under a week, and I am seriously impressed by everything so far.
Next up, I am planning on moving my Django personal website across to something built out with Twidget and Webstudio. That is going to be a fun little project.
I can't wait to get more in-depth with Twidget. Given that the product appears to be just over a year old, it's truly impressive!

No Brainer — Twidget.io Is a Yes from Me
Twidget.io is seriously underrated. The platform delivers great value, and I’ve been really impressed with what they offer. Honestly, if they had this kind of deal available on a higher tier plan, I would upgrade without hesitation. Keep up the amazing work — excited to see how Twidget continues to grow

Powerful tool with greater potential for further growth!
I found Twidget to be quite intuitive, though it is still in its early stage of development. It is rich with useful and even powerful features that allow you to build complex logic custom APIs.
Twidget enables users to build complex, custom logic directly within its API endpoint builder—going far beyond standard functionality. For example, it can handle tasks like uploading a file, storing it in an internal file system, creating a corresponding record in an internal database with all relevant file data, generating a JSON object with any desired structure containing the file's metadata and a link to the file, and sending it back as a response—all within a single API endpoint call.
What sets Twidget apart is the convenience of its no-code graphical interface, making these advanced operations accessible even to non-developers. Additionally, the platform includes a wide range of data type handlers, converters, loops, and logical expressions such as if, if-else, and else statements. Even more impressively, these can be combined into user-defined custom functions, which can then be reused across different API endpoints for greater flexibility and efficiency. Another standout feature they offer is scheduled events, allowing you to automate API calls whenever a predefined trigger condition is met. While it doesn’t include SQL commands as a feature, it more than makes up for it with capabilities that competitors simply don’t offer.

A Unique, Powerful, and Fun Tool
As a programming geek, I experiment with every API that walks my way. I have more and more that it is easy to find a nice database system with robust REST APIs, but to truly customize how they work I usually needed to run them through an intermediary like Zapier for corrections, formatting or validations.
Twidget is a different animal that provides custom options and steps to refine, enhance, and validate incoming and outgoing data.
and yes, I can't stop playing with the new toy in my toy box...oops, I mean tool in my toolbox
Pros:
- includes a pre-built authentication system, a rather rare feature
- extensive list of commands that can be executed on incoming requests, a small subset of my favorites include generating emails, manipulating text and data, error detection and handling, encoding and hashing of data, making other api calls, sending emails, manipulating files , the list just goes on...
- in addition to defining the payload of the request, there options for designing headers, and URL variables to add an extra layer to the request
- as a result of the above, you can create many API entries that can take the same call and use it in different ways
- fast communication with support
- if this is what it looks like now as a newer product, I can only dream about what else is going to be added in
Cons:
- only one really... because there is so much going on here, their documentation needs more information and detail; there are helpful videos, but when I am working fast I don't feel like watching one
