What are the possibilities of integrating with other backend systems like SQL Server?

My use case is that I have my own SQL Server instance hosted on cloud. I would like to leverage the backend to connect with Twidget. Do you plan to build such integrations and make it available; may be on higher tiers?

Also, does the tool have the ability to query database using SQL and join tables?

I believe, these two features can make this great product stand out.
