Q: cname and payment gateway questions
Last few q's!
11) You said that Unibee can be used for ecomm subs. If we have one time purchases and subscriptions on the same ecommerce site, how would checkout work for one-time AND subscription purchases when we use unibee?
Would I use the sites payment methods (for non-recurring payments), and unibee would ONLY handle the subscriptions, or would unibee handle both?
12) You mentioned that cname and smtp will be both provided for appsumo users. Can you explain how you imagine those featues working? Will we be able to personalizable for EACH different legal entity in the workspace or is it only 1 for the whole workspace?
13) Can you have one product but offer different gateways for people in different parts of the world that they prefer to use?
14) Estimate of moneris/nuvei integration goes live?
Thanks for your patience Yuumi!

Dec 24, 2025A: Hi there! Thank you for your patience, and these are excellent questions to help us clarify our current capabilities and roadmap. Here are the details:
11) One-time vs. Subscription Checkout Currently, UniBee handles both one-time and subscription payments, but we do not yet support a unified "shopping cart" feature. This means if a customer wants to buy both, they would need to complete two separate checkout processes.
Note: We are constantly evaluating our checkout experience, but for now, the system ensures each transaction is processed securely and tracked accurately in your dashboard.
12) CNAME & SMTP Configuration At this stage, SMTP and CNAME settings are global features for the entire workspace. They cannot be configured individually for each legal entity yet.
The Future: This is a fantastic suggestion! We’ve shared this with our product team to optimize the "Multi-Entity" logic, aiming to provide more granular branding control for users managing multiple businesses in one workspace.
13) Geographic Gateway Routing We don't have automatic location-based switching yet, but you can achieve this through localized Plans and Checkout Templates:
The Workaround: You can create specific "Plans" for different regions (e.g., a "US Plan" and an "EU Plan") and link them to different Checkout Templates. For example, you can assign Stripe to your US template and another provider to your EU template.
Roadmap: Fully automated routing based on the user's IP/location is already on our 2026 roadmap.
14) Moneris/Nuvei Integration For specific Canadian gateways like Moneris or Nuvei, we would love to learn more about your specific requirements. Please reach out to us via email so we can provide a more detailed update and see how we can best support your market needs.
Thanks again for these insights! They help us build a better product. Let me know if you have any other questions!
