I very much wanted to give this a five star review, as the concept is great: bring RAG (AI) to the development of custom learning programs.
However, a week in and I've still not been able to get a single lesson up, due to performance issues, and a UX that has some obvious flaws for people working on real-world learning programs (which can involve many dozens of information assets. For example, there is no easy way to upload multiple assets at one time, sort assets, upload textual assets, etc. Also, because you have to upload assets one at a time, and the placement of the generation button, means it is extremely easy to start generation before you've actually uploaded all materials. That also means you lose your limited credits.
Finally, reading the responses to the questions and roadmap, it is clear the vendor has a 'lock in' mentality for any learning programs developed on the platform. No scorm export or any export, in fact. That is *almost* enough to make this an automatic refund for me.
On the plus side, the service does enable a lot more than you'd get from a single LLM, but bringing together multiple AI services into a pretty slick chain. This is not something you could easily create with a GPT4 chain (though you can format the GPT agent can output contentfor upload into open learning systems.
Given the headaches I've had to date, I've not actually been able to upload our data and generate a full course, so any review on the quality of the generate programs is questionable. However, given what I've done with our own custom gen AI python scripts, I am confident it would be more than good enough for many people.
I will not refund this just yet, because I do see potential. But having potential does not pay the bills.
