Regarding triple-checking, it works like this: let's say, a monitoring probe from San Francisco detects that there is a problem. It immediately alerts our main servers. After that, 3 random probes that are not the original probe that detected the outage, check for problems again. We send alerts only if all 3 additional probes confirm that there is a problem.

I am fully aware that there is a risk in case your probe goes down, but I am willing to take that risk. At the moment you are forcing users to test from SIX probes. Could you consider changing this to a minimum of ONE and maybe just include a warning if a small number is used?

only Speed Monitoring and Transaction Monitoring are "Advanced checks". SSL monitoring, domain monitoring and other features planned in the roadmap will have their separate limits.
For sumolings all future features will mimic our Standard (Tier 1), Advanced (Tier 2) and Enterprise (Tier 3) plans.
we include free SMS for US and Canada. Paid SMS packages are available for worldwide.
The reason for that is that International SMS price is 10-100x times more expensive than US/Canada. We could not provide free SMS for our lifetime licence customers because the price is beyond our control.
Please keep in mind that there are plenty other options to receive notifications to your mobile device, such as WhasApp or Telegram integrations.

A: We are planning to update our Speed Monitoring tool in the near future. It is a great idea to separate Desktop and Mobile speeds, we have not considered that. We will certainly add it to our todo list.
Regarding crawling the whole website, it would not be useful in case of our tools. Most websites have hundreds or even thousands of pages and monitoring all of them automatically would not help. Also, even our Tier 3 plan includes 50 advanced monitoring checks, so it would exceed the plan immediately.
Hi, some other tools offer the website automatic crawling - it can be very useful to tell what pages have good performance and what pages need improvement. I know that it can be hundreds of the pages - but perform the check once a 12/24 hours and then show the progress over the time shall not have impact on the performance. Additionally this shall be included within one monitor - advanced one I agree. Please, can you consider this requirement and discuss it internally?
you have a very good point here. Scanning once or twice a day would be totally fine. We could look for a sitemap and scan the 100 top pages to have a reasonable limit.
We will discuss it within our team to decide the best approach for this. We could either integrate it to our Speed Monitoring tool as a feature or build a completely new product, like a "Full performance scan" and check for more than just speed, but also JS errors, HTML errors, etc.

A: Our AppSumo deal is identical to our regular pricing. It means that Tier 1 gets 50 uptime checks, 5 advanced checks (Speed Monitoring and Transaction Monitoring), 5 SSL Monitoring checks and 5 RUM websites.
Let's say I go for tier 3. That allows 30 second check interval and has 500 uptime checks. Does that mean I burn through the tier in 4,26 days of uptime monitoring a single URL? That would mean I would go unmonitored for about 26 days a month. Doesn't sound right to me.
uptime checks means how many websites you can monitor at the same time. So if you had Tier 3 and 500 websites, it means that we would check if they are up every 30 seconds, so around 1000 checks every minute.
