I just started experimenting with Vento and I really like it! I don't do a lot of video work. I mainly use Loom to reply to my assistant and answer student questions about things in our LMS. Because these are never planned in advance, the pause and rewind feature is really nice...and it works well for me!
3 things that would be great...
1) When I hit record in Loom, I don't have to navigate back to the tab I was trying to record. Vento starts recording in the Vento tab. It's a pain to navigate back to the tab you want to record (yes, I have too many tabs open)
2) I actually like the controls always visible in the lower left corner of the screen. Maybe there is a way to keep them visible by default instead of hovering over and I missed it?
3) It seems that the default countdown is 3s. I see that you can change it to 5s, but I think you have to do this for every recording. It would be nice to set this (or even longer countdowns) as a default.
I'm excited to keep using Vento and will post more updates as I go!
