Great tool with a huge limitation.
Excellent tool for screen recording, with incredibly useful features such as speech transcription and the ability to rewind and re-record from any point. The unlimited hosting service is outstanding.
There are only two downsides, but one is quite limiting:
Each recording has a time limit of one hour.
It doesn't work on smartphones, even though the advertising claimed otherwise. This was the main reason I decided to purchase it; I even contacted support to resolve the issue, but they replied that they don't guarantee functionality on mobile devices and don't offer assistance for that.
It's a shame, because if they managed to make Vento work on mobile devices, it would definitely deserve 5 tacos.

Jul 24, 2025Hey There! Thanks for leaving a review. Just a note, we never claim to work on smartphones. I'm not sure where you're seeing this but if you do, please let us know because that's incorrect.
Also, we've been upfront about hour 1hr recording limit. It's in the appsumo deal. This helps us manage costs as nearly 90% of all our recordings are under 45 minutes. We cant provide unlimited recording time in a lifetime deal.
