Vidbites - Video Pre-screening for Recruiting and Hiring Reviews

I have always done repetitive manual interviews for our applicants that waste time a lot, I personally do not like repetitive things and Vidbites can change this!

I have been using the tools for more than 2 months before leaving a review to make sure the review will be accurate and can help other who is looking for a quick solution to eliminate the repetitive interview process.

Basically, the main services are pre-recorded video and you can also record your test and the applicants can answer it either code-based, verbal, or even simple text.

The Founder of the app is really helpful and responsive, I had some issues and he fixed them immediately. I see that he and the team also updated the function quite fast.

One thing I believe can make Vidbites can be improved is custom domain email automation.

Vidbites is worth more than 5 tacos.

I've been using MyInterview for the last few years but wanted to try this LTD for the price, and I was very happy with how easy everything was to set up and the ability to record questions. Most asynchronous interview platforms charge a lot of money for this feature, so this was a big deal for me. Now my applicants can listen to a real person ask the questions instead of just reading the question and recording their answers.

I also love the intro video and ability to customize the email templates sent to applicants.

I was able to set everything up relatively quickly, test my workflow, and it worked perfectly! I ran into a little hiccup and Isaac was very responsive and quick to respond. My MacBook caused the issue. Once I restarted, all was well. Isaac even followed up the next day to make sure everything was working well. Excellent service!

My only issue (and it's really trivial) is not being able to input my hex code for my brand color. I had to use the color wheel and try to get as close as possible. It's not a big deal since I was able to get pretty close, but I can tell it's a little off. Not sure if I missed this, but if not, it would be great to add this to the future roadmap so I can be more on brand.

If you do interviews, you need this as it will save you a ton of time and give your applicants a great experience and a good first impression. Don't miss this deal!

I just tried Vidbites out and I am very happy with my purchase! A really awesome deal! The idea behind that tool is already good and the tool is just working as good as the idea. I am pretty sure the tool will help us a lot in our hiring process in the future.

For a non-profit association, I am looking for this type of solution to process requests from volunteers who wish to join us.

So I tested VIDBITES and have several comments to make:

- The price is clearly the most accessible and for a for-profit association, this is essential.

- The platform is fast and the basics are there BUT:

1. There are very big problems with style sheets; no responsive and even on a tablet, while the site is uncluttered, the visual rendering is not good and on mobile, it's even worse.

2. The possibility of translating the platform into several languages should be provided. If I can help you in French, do not hesitate.

I am therefore waiting to see the next version, hoping that it will be deployed in a few days because I will ask for a refund if there is no change. Even if the cost is very affordable, the application will unfortunately not be of any use to me as it is.

I will not hesitate to make a new detailed comment (back end and front end) as soon as the next version is online.

The website is super buggy, couldn´t click even the login form properly, and also the chat function doesn´t work. The latest updates on this products are from February 2022. Looks like they simply left it without further development. Waste of money in that case.
