Q: Is VidTags Closing Down?

Received an email today from VidTags to inform users of their intent to "transition". Transition to what? Sounds like they are closing their doors.

Yes, they are, and VidPowr will be next; they already confirmed it. In some way, I was expecting that already; these people are shameless, dishonest people. They were running a lifetime deal on other websites not too long ago. Just collect the money and run. I honestly believe AppSumo will need to do something about this type of hit and run... if they want to continue in business.

This is insanely frustrating -- I bought high Tiers for BOTH VidTags and VidPowr -- spent hundreds of dollars, and have not been able to use it for more than 2-3 years... This is happening WAY too often, and I am getting really upset and disappointed with AppSumo --- am just not buying much from here anymore... AppSumo really needs to STOP these Hit-and-Runs...

From what I understand, the service itself will continue to work.
But you won't be able to create new accounts (this applies more to those with a monthly subscription).
🤔
You'll have to ask them.

The developer also has a second product here on Appsumo, VidPowr.

The software will no longer work after March 31st.

Heard from AppSumo:

"VidTags, VidChapter, FeedPlay, and VidPowr access and features will remain available for purchasers until March 31, 2026.

While these deals fall outside of our We Got Your Back Guarantee window and refunds aren't available, we've secured you free access to LeadPal."

Oh brother.

HORRIBLE and VERY poor judgement on AppSumo's part --- Many of us spent hundreds of dollars on VidTags and VidPowr, to now find out that this was a clear HIT-AND-RUN... AppSumo should have negotiated a really strong, appropriate compensation, and should BLACKLIST this company and its makers... We bought Video-Storage PLUS Tools, and now get a single "free" (woohooo!) license of some Lead-Capturing

... (continued) some Lead-Capturing Tool. NOT what we wanted or needed at all, and given that company's track record, I expect that even that LeadPal software will be around for only 2-3 years (HIT and RUN again)...
