To Vid or not to Vid. Well, you can audio as well if you like
VidTags is a great alternative to other platforms where you may be restricted in one way or another for storing your content. Free platforms may not always mean freedom to do things your way, and paid ones may also be subject to rule changes. We are not in control of adverts that may interfere in the emersion, continuity and the message you want to portray. You may also be restricted on how to brand, content or advertise your videos and audio.
VidTags for me is a future-proof investment that will allow me to keep control of me and my clients contents. This is only the storage part of the deal. Even if you had to host your own videos, the features that they have are worth the 5 tacos on their own. For a company that has only started in 2020 the product already just looks so polished and professional. I hope this is only a sign of things to come.
You can read for yourself above all the many features VidTags have. I already have Apps that can do TTS, create video, translate and store them. But this app seems to combine all the best features into one SEO friendly app. And my best feature at the moment is being able to create your own podcasts and video casts. As future features of more control like call-to-action buttons etc. I could see this also been used as lead magnet/funnel/mini landing pages.
One other great feature is being able to search your videos. If you embed these videos into a course, for example. This would create great value for your customers, clients and a great reference finder for your own research.
Some of us do not like reading subtitles as it is. Even though the features are great for marketing and educational videos, I would also like to have the option to go old school and have my transcriptions burnt onto the video, or be allowed to upload a .srt text, so we don't have to read outside the video if we choose to. Because if we are watching something engaging or entertaining, we want to see the reactions of people and the subtitles inside the video without missing the message. Why not have both, so we can still search. I just want to be able to have the choice according to my audience.
The last important point for me is the support. I can vouch that they are there for you, swift and informative. I am hopeful of the future of VidTags and look forward to the company and the features grow. And with it, my peace of mind of making a great investment.
