Video Hosting, Transcription, and so much more... OH MY!

VidTags offers some seriously good value compared to the competition. Just look at what they offer and compare it to any of its competitors and you'll just wonder "HOW!" That's how good the offer is. I went full stack when I saw it. And why not...
•The user section offers a sleek UI that is responsive.
•It offers all the features needed for most use cases and adds a few extras like the ability to upload background sounds, which is a nice touch that could save some post editing time and allows for better transcriptions.
•The analytics aren't overwhelming and does a good job of maintaining user privacy having it everything aggregated.
•Offers a solid library of onboarding videos to help you learn the system.
•Simple to upload videos, but I wish we could add additional videos as others are being uploaded. Doing one at a time can be time consuming.
•You can pull videos from external sources, like Youtube, to maintain consistency. Though the UX for this left a bit to be desired, no progress bar or any indication if I could leave the page while it did things in the background (it does btw).
•The transcription was about 70-80% accurate and videos are transcribed pretty darn quick.
•Adding languages is simple and impressive. The voice fonts are high quality and produced fairly quickly.
•Loads of options when downloading translations and transcripts, various formats including just the audio. This turns VidTags into a pretty nice audio generation tool when needed.
•Has decent, but limited, security options like a password layer or being able to restrict playback to specific domains - it would be nice to be able to generate large number of passwords that could be expired selectively

Things I wish for:
•Batch uploading
•Background uploading
•Highlight Transcript text as the video is playing in sync with the audio
•An option to burn in subtitles into the video where the current spoken word is highlighted (good for accessibility)
•APIs and Webhooks
•The ability to select video quality when uploading from an external source

I've run into a few minor issues,
•I was stuck seeing an unformatted page that was letting me know I was fully upgraded.
•I had to log out to see the correct plan.
•Logging in took me to an agency page, which threw me off since it looked completely different (including its style) than the regular page.

These are all minor issues that only reflect the early stage of this product, which can easily be overlooked.

The only real issue that I ran into was that the support system's captcha did not work for me and wasn't authorizing me. A possible misconfiguration, but it could be a big issue for some people who need to resolve something quickly. There is no phone number and the contact information is limited, so having a working support system is key.

Overall I would HIGHLY recommend checking out VidTags out if you need a hosting platform or transcription service.

Note: This review was incentivized, but not influenced.
