The timing of this offering from Viloud for appsumo couldn't be better. I was looking to branch into a video aggregation and curation service for our membership and this platform is going to offer up some new possibilities for us that goes far beyond simply sharing YouTube videos. The idea of scheduled linear programming and having multiple channels is a fantastic offering to add to our video library in serving our customers. As a result of this offer, we are going to include it as part of our new video platform that will be in development over the next two months.

I'd like to mention the support provided by Viloud has been excellent. I have had some technical questions around program scheduling that can be shared with viewers, and they have not only been responsive in answering my questions here on appsumo, but also researched and provided live examples to make sure they understood what I was referencing. That's an effort that goes well beyond just providing a quick text-based answer, and I really appreciate how they demonstrated such excellent customer service while being in the middle of an appsumo launch. Not easy!

The features that I like from this platform:
- ease of use is #1 and setting up channels is very easy to accomplish. Takes less than 5 minutes.
- the ability to set up a linear or on-demand channel shows great flexibility in their offering. I plan to provide both to our customers
- I appreciate that they do not charge for bandwidth when sourcing YouTube videos (saved me money in the end). I still went for Tier 5 because my bandwidth needs may increase in the future
- The scheduler is very intuitive to set up linear programming
- The ability to configure and brand a website is also very easy to do.
- Their player UI is very nice. I give the UI high marks overall in offering a superior UI when compared to Vadootv.
- The ability to embed the video/channel for a custom website is a welcome feature, and I will be using that in the future for sure.
- Being able to customize channels with CNAME support is a +++

What I hope to see:
- The ability to share a program schedule with the viewer is critical for my particular use case. To set up a week's programming at a time without any sort of program schedule is a gap. I hope they will add this as they already have the programming UI established when configurating a channel on the back end.
- The web site lacks some basic features I would like to see added. For example, a custom header and footer. Right now I can add a logo but that's about it. I'd like to inject HTML and CSS to have the same banner navigation as I have on my other related web sites, but I don't think this is possible today.

I know Viloud has an active roadmap so I'm excited to see how the platform continues to develop over time. For now, providing a platform to do linear program scheduling is a great value-add for the website we are going to be creating. One of my best appsumo investments to date!
