Significant Change to Lifetime Deal – 𝕏 Access Removed and Now a $29 Add-On
I purchased Vista Social on November 27, 2023, through an AppSumo Lifetime Deal. I bought it for simple personal use: managing just two accounts across roughly ten platforms, with 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) as my primary platform. At the time of purchase, full access to all features, including 𝕏, was included as part of the deal.
Now, 𝕏 access has been removed from the original plan and is now offered only as a $29 add-on. This change has directly disrupted my workflow. I can no longer use the tool for my main platform without paying extra for a feature that was part of my original purchase. I contacted support to request restoration of the included features or an appropriate resolution, but I did not receive a satisfactory outcome that preserved the value of deal I paid for.
As a result, I deeply regret both my purchase and recommending the product to three friends. I can no longer support or recommend Vista Social. The company has not honored the original terms of the lifetime deal it offered to early buyers. Anyone considering this product should steer far away and be aware that core functionality will change after purchase.
I had my plan completely removed because I wasn't using it - same as so many other lifetime deal owners - disgusing!!!
AVOID!!!! I bought the software via appsumo lifetime deal then got my plan completely removed because I wasn't using it, the same as loads of other folk have had done to them. I sent emails to them and they would not even reply to me after the first email. Awful way to treat paying customers who invest in your company right at the start, and it also had an awful knock-on effect on my wee company. AVOID!
Tier 3: Now nearly identical to Tier 2 due to retroactive caps
I purchased the Tier 3 plan specifically for the 'Unlimited' posting capability on 50 accounts(2023). VistaSocial has since retroactively applied a 'Fair Use' limit of 3,100 posts per month total (100 posts per day limit for tier 3 instead of unlimited). (so we can't post to more than 31 accounts on a possibility of 50 accounts offered in tier 3.)
This effectively kills the "unlimited" value of Tier 3, making it nearly identical to lower tier 2 (2500 posts limit per month)
Why is VistaSocial changing the terms of a deal that was already finalized? ☹️ I heard it's from abusing users and appsumo accepted the changes of terms. (Can you confirm?)
I understand the need for a Fair Use Policy to prevent actual system abuse. However, there is a fundamental lack of logic in applying nearly the same limit to Tier 3 users as Tier 1 or 2. As a Tier 3 supporter, I’m not asking for infinite resources or uploading hundreds of videos a day. I am simply asking for a limit that reflects the premium I paid. I expressed this to Matthew, but the response was dismissive. I’m open to a fair limit, but the current cap punishes legitimate power users instead of just stopping abusers.
Vista Social was easily my best AppSumo purchase.. the one "gem" that made up for all the other LTDs lost. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case for Tier 3 users if they don't reconsider.
The Support Response after reaching out: They tried to upsell me or even offered a refund and the closing of my account. It feels like early supporters are being squeezed out to force us into monthly subscriptions. ☹️☹️☹️
It’s disappointing because it's a tool I use to love.
I would have accepted and been happy if they had, for exemple, fixed tier 3 limit to 300 posts per day instead of the unlimited posts feature I bought. I'm still open to be very happy but Matthew A from Vista Social already refused to make this "fair" to good tier 3 users.
As a small marketing agency, we are very happy with Vista Social. It's easy to use and intuitive. A lot of useful updates and quick responses on tickets. I enjoy a Appsumo Tier 3 subscription. Were planning to keep use of Vista Social.

timesaver and convenience
It is very helpful with the consolidated inbox; having Google My Business (ability to reply to reviews), facebook, instagram DMs, etc!
Now with a Mac app, it is even more convenient.
The UI needs improvement.
Also, please allow the main sidebar and profiles sidebars to be sticky.
