I bought Tier 1, then refunded as Vmaker did not have Windows app (and I had soooo many other tools: CloudApp, Loom, Clapboard, Berrycast, Sendspark, Quickpage etc. just to name a few). But then I returned and bought Tier 5 of Vmaker.

First, I tried Vmaker for screen recording, and I find the quality OK. The recording for me was smooth. And the player loaded quickly enough to consider. Certainly it was a few minutes videos, I have never tried a 3 hours video. But from the video recordings I saw, it loads OK.

Secondly, I think Vmaker has potential. The editing features are simple currently, but promising. I think it can help to replace my current workflow of recording -> uploading -> downloading -> editing. The 4k recording is another future-proof feature (who know?). And with CNAME etc, Vmaker seems to have some good features to offer.

I hope that the user limit is re-considered. For now, IMO 150 users for Tier 5 is quite a low limit, compared with the price vs current functions.

The 5-tacos given is same as my FOMO for Vmaker: partly for now, mainly for future. I will "bet" on it and look forward to Vmaker team to confirm whether I made the right choice. But I have a good "gut feeling" for confidence with the team behind.
