Q: Please provide an example of a system prompt

Hello, I am currently in the three-day trial phase and considering purchasing it afterwards through AppSumo as Tier 2.

A brief feedback:

- More detailed information about all the settings and possibilities desired
- Information in a more detailed and cleaner structure desired

Overall, it’s quite okay, but as mentioned, I have some issues with the usability and also with the UI.

My specific question: Could you please give me 2–3 examples of a system prompt that can be entered? I’m not entirely clear on what can be achieved with it.

A: Hi there! 👋 Thank you so much for reaching out and for your detailed feedback! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on the usability and UI. 🙏

About the Custom Prompt feature:
The Custom Prompt section (Settings > Custom Prompt) lets you give the AI special instructions on how to process your voice inputs. Think of it as telling the AI how to behave or what format to use when transcribing.

Here are 3 examples of what you can enter:

1️⃣ "Always summarize my voice notes into bullet points"
→ Perfect for meetings or brainstorming sessions.

2️⃣ "Correct any grammar mistakes and make the text professional"
→ Great for drafting emails or formal messages.

3️⃣ "Use a warm and friendly tone when transcribing my voice"
→ Ideal for personal messages, journaling, or content creation.

You can get creative! The AI will follow your instructions as closely as possible. ✨

Also, your suggestion about more detailed settings info is gold! 💡 Would you mind sharing your ideas on our feedback board?

Thank you. I have understood.

One question, what I am missing is the automatic translation into another language.

Example: I enter a text in German, highlight the text, and then want to have it translated into English via voice input using VoiceDash. Is that possible?

That works, if you set the language to English and speak German, it gets automatically translated—I have tried it. However, a hotkey to switch the output language would be great, since I often need English texts but always want to speak German. It also works if you give the tool the instruction to translate a following text into English without settings but it also writes the instruction?

What´s actually in the base prompt of VoiceDash? Because spelling and improvement, I assume according to my observation, are already (partially?) included, right? I don't need to specify that separately, do I?
