I really like it on desktop. It works well with my Apple Silicon Mac, but I am wondering if it's safe for iOS.

I see that it has a constant live activity, which is frustrating since I rely on that live activity feature for other apps from time to time. Even after I removed the live activity access for the app on iOS, there is a microphone active indication at all times, even when the phone is locked.
You would think that when you're not actively using the transcription feature or keyboard, the microphone would close, but it does not seem to be the case.

Aside from that, I'm really enjoying the product, and I have reached out to support directly. Hopefully they can help figure out and resolve this continuous open‑mic issue that seems to be a security concern.

For me, VoiceDash truly stands out from other formats or services I have used so far because the language you input is very polished, improved, and enhanced both grammatically and in terms of spelling.

Currently, VoiceDash is also changing how I interact with AI, meaning the prompting, because I can speak freely and say anything that comes to mind instead of typing.

I thought I was being clever, using Android's built-in speech-to-text to compose messages on my phone while out and about, but I'd never really considered how much time I then spend FIXING what's been captured -- correcting words, adding punctuation, etc.

VoiceDash gets this all right, perfectly capturing and formatting what I've said.

My biggest challenge in adopting this on the desktop is simply remembering that I can do this now!

On Android, I've run into a slight hitch: needing to reactivate the app's accessibility permissions from time to time, but once I do that, its custom input floaty thingy appears whenever there's the option to add text.

I really appreciate that this widget, and the recording bar that appears when I tap it, are so nicely designed; this makes the service feel like a premium add-in, not a developer-y kludge.

I wasn't so sure I needed this, but now I'm really happy I bought it.

I don't often write reviews, but this app definitely deserves five stars. Although it took one week for this to work on my Macs, the customer service has been outstanding. Charizze has always worked hard to help me with my problem running this software on my Macs. She put me in touch with their tech team. Emad solved the problem in one day.

This software makes me hopeful about people working harmoniously with AI. It lets you write what you say and type it far faster and accurately than typing it out by hand. I really like that you can speak English, and it will translate into the other languages they offer. Japanese is the one that I use the most.

Even though the iOS version is in beta, it works very well with Messages. I look forward to this team continuing to develop this software and making it even better than it is today. I hope that this company will stay in business for a long time, and I’ll be able to use this software for all the coming days. I tested Voicedash and Blip — Voicedash feels a bit more solid to me. Blip is good too, but the fact that it automatically mutes the audio when music plays and I dictate is worth its weight in gold. On top of that, the highest standards for ChatGPT are met when it comes to data protection.

Now to the core of the program: the dictation works flawlessly — press the two buttons, speak; the formatting is perfect in most cases and the text is almost error-free. Because of a prompt adjustment that had made things a bit worse than I feared, I contacted support. Even over the weekend I received a very quick response and proactive help. We were able to find the error quickly and improve the behavior.

A common complaint is that longer texts are eventually cut off.
I haven't reached the point where it cuts off yet, even when I speak several paragraphs in a row and take longer pauses between thoughts.

Very cool, of course, is also the function of simply writing in a foreign language. Whether I select it via a switch, during dictation, or with a short verbal addition at the beginning, such as “write the following in English” and then speaking natively German as an example — that definitely saves the detour via translation with copy and paste.
