Floating button obscuring chat window enter button

Great app, thank you!

I'm having an issue with the floating button on android in that it partly obscures the send button in a chat interface when the keyboard is visible at the same time. This makes it difficult to click the chat send button without accidentally clicking on the VoiceDash floating button. All the apps I've tried have the same issue (telegram, chatgpt, WhatsApp, grok etc.).

Currently VoiceDash does not allow moving the floating button or fine tuning it's location, so there's no work around.

Using on a Google Pixel 8 Pro running android 16, including a Ulefone Armor 24 running android 14, both experiencing the same issue.

Edit:
Thank you for your response. After a bit of trial and error, I figured out how to move the floating button. Part of the problem lies in the dual purpose of the floating button: holding down on the button initiates an instant recording and thus locks it in place, preventing it's movement.

I found that the only way to readjust the location of the floating button was to tap it and immediately move it before the floating button registers that it may want to start a recording session.

Hi,

Thank you for the detailed feedback and for including the device models and Android versions — that’s very helpful.

We understand the issue you’re describing. The floating VoiceDash button on Android can actually be moved/repositioned, but we understand how the current behavior can make that difficult at first. Since holding the button also starts a recording session, it can sometimes feel like the button is locked in place while trying to move it.

As you discovered, the current workaround is to tap and immediately drag the floating button before it registers as a recording action.

We’ve shared this feedback with the team as well, since improving the floating button movement behavior and reducing accidental recording while repositioning it would definitely improve usability across different Android layouts and chat applications.

Thank you again for the detailed report and for testing it across multiple devices.
