Great for very short transcripts
The app is very good when it works. As others have noted, it is hit and miss. It is unclear if it is working. The wave animation might be going, yet no audio is recorded. When playing a 7 or 8 minute recording, it seems to stop after about 3 minutes on Android. Even when starting the app within say Word, it doesn't actually paste the transcript there. So still many bugs and inconsistencies.

VoiceDash is primarily designed for short dictation sessions, and we generally recommend recordings of around 1–3 minutes for the best experience and reliability. Longer recordings, such as 7–8 minutes, may not perform as consistently, especially on mobile devices.
That said, the behavior you described regarding recordings stopping unexpectedly, audio not being captured despite the wave animation being active, and transcripts not being pasted into the target application are not expected. We'd like to investigate those issues further.
Could you please let us know:
* Which Android device you're using
* Your Android version
* Your VoiceDash version
If possible, please also send us the app logs from VoiceDash Settings → Support → View Logs shortly after encountering the issue so our technical team can review what happened.
