Quite good at first but getting worse and iOS works unpredictable
The biggest issue is with iOS App.
Every time I use the VoiceDash keyboard and try to record something, the application pops up with an unnecessary confirmation, forcing me to confirm and return to the app I was dictating in. This happens almost every single time.
The second issue is that it disrupts the audio sent to my headphones or any connected Bluetooth device. I usually have to reconnect or restart the app— for example, Spotify— because the output audio gets broken when using the VoiceDash option.
So those are the main issues with the iOS app. It's unstable and difficult to use.
Overall the app seems very useful but the UI/UX needs to get better and also the quality of transcription should get better not worse in time...
I see that more and more words are not detected properly, like the model changed or it uses less compute power than before?
Also sometimes I don't like the editing and styling that gets applied to the outcome text.
I would prefer not to switch but might be forced to do so.

Regarding the confirmation screen that appears when using the VoiceDash keyboard on iOS, this can happen when the app has been idle for some time or has been fully closed in the background. In those cases, tapping the VoiceDash keyboard may open the main app to verify that the required permissions are still enabled. The good news is that we've already made improvements for this behavior, and the fix is included in an upcoming update that is currently in the final stages of testing.
Could you also let us know which version of VoiceDash you're currently running?
As for the Bluetooth/headphone audio issue, our team is aware of this behavior and is actively working on improvements. We know it can be disruptive when audio output is affected after using VoiceDash.
Regarding app stability and the overall iOS experience, we completely agree that there is still room for improvement. Please be assured that the team is working hard to make the app smoother, more reliable, and easier to use.
On transcription quality, we recently moved from our previous model to a newer one last week, so you should now see improved transcription accuracy compared to before.
For the formatting and styling concerns, you can customize how VoiceDash formats your output through the **Custom System Prompt**. For example, you can instruct it to produce casual text, emails, bullet points, lists, or other specific formats based on your preferences.
