Great product. I was skeptical at first, if Apple and MS can’t even get this right…

Hands down, one of the best appsumo deals ever. If you can speak 4 times faster than you can type, you can do the maths. I actually voice typed quite a complex legal document and it’s really impressive, clever enough to leave out the ‘uh’ and ‘ums’ and ‘y’know’ and pieces the good bits together beautifully. I also got a few bonus lyrics from Spotify playing in the background :), so something to bear in mind but that only happened when I was quiet, waiting for my brain to catch up.
You can assign hot keys to give some optionality which was a game changer for me as less faff with the keyboard press n hold.

Auto-Detect works really really well, I jumped around 8 languages in quick succession of which 7 were detected flawlessly. I’m sure Welsh is at the very top of the roadmap. 🙄

Two things I haven’t yet figured… if my device is BT’d to eg a speaker (but not playing anything) and i start speaking, voicedash sometimes jumps around and goes ape. It may be a ‘setting thing’ which means reading that ‘instruction thing’, I guess.

And (I totally deserve a slap for even mentioning this) but a couple of times I’ve been signed out and to sign back in, it’s a email/code combo, which I’m personally allergic to. Can we have SSO or something for lazy people?

If you actually calculate the payback, you’re saving 45 mins from every hour you spent keystroking (lab results). I’m saving my pocket money for another tier.…
