Q: Can you tell me about the downloading format.
It's currently only available in mp3. I need to get files in an uncompressed wav format so that they can edit with the source file.

For now just mp3.
No really not. Quite simply mp3 compresses and therefore (damages) impacts the quality of the recording. If you need to add intros / outros to the file, using an mp3 file and the exporting it, this would further impact the quality of the file.
And again I'm no pro with sound generation, manipulation or recording etc.
Output quality of HD/Neural voices is 192 kb/sn at 44.000 Khz.
It is possible to convert it to a wav file at the backend but not necessary.
You may find that you are closing doors to both semi-professionals and professionals by deciding that uncompressed audio is not necessary or available. It is necessary, and in many cases you need to add intros / outros.
Starting from a compressed version means it will be compressing from an already compressed file and the result will never be as good as using an uncompressed source file. The quality of the final version will be impacted.
It's a surprising response. Most Creators here on Appsumo, welcome input that help them address like you say professional (audio type) requirements and functionalities, rather than saying you don't need them. But also not that reassuring.
That is a technical matter: voiceover supplied as mp3 and transmitting as it is. Besides, we keep files for a very long time; wav files would be occupying cloud storage.
That is why I mentioned, it is possible to convert files to wav at the backend but we don't.
Well 1) it's a requirement so will simply result in a refund unfortunately 2) it doesn't need to be stored on your servers (worst case scenario it can be regenerated) from our perspective so seems unfortunate that you remove saving in this format when it is a non issue for us.
So not allowing it to be saved in wav format because you're worried it would take up more room is an unfortunate choice. We don't need a copy to be preserved.
