- Voices include only a few good HD versions per languages tested. No ultra realistic voices yet and no commitment to whether they will be included in the future, so no better than the 2 or 3 previous Appsumo offers we have.
- Dictation tool is no better or worse than previous Appsumo deals we have.
- Support is (I can only find one way to describe it) blunt and not helpful. Not sure if it is a language or cultural difference.
- Only providing MP3 as a format to download files (apparently because they are worried uncompressed files will take up too much space in their servers) and even when we said, we don't need them to be saved just let us download in wav format, resulted in a 'technically we could but still no'.
- constantly getting the website and emails in Turkish even when choosing English as a language on the site
- settings goes awry with twice the speed being applied for no reason when redoing the same phrases, same page and just changing one word. And of course the whole counts against your word count.

For a company creating/producing audio files, only providing it in a compressed format (that damages the file) if you want to use it within a video, or simply edit the audio, is just weird. And when this issue was raised in questions, and Voiser joking about it not being important, whaaat?

I bought the max tier on this offer and already feel it's a good investment for creating audiobooks which I am doing. The UI is a bit rough, but believe it will be improved over time. And I would like to see a "Test" button near the "pronunciation" modifier so you can tell if your modified words are being spoken as you wish. Other than that, I'm amazed at how many different English voices there are (from all the English-speaking countries) and the processing of output files has been quick and smooth thus far. I believe if you give this software a go of it, you will find just how useful it will become for you in a short time. Thanks to the creators and AS for this deal!

I was one of the first to jump on this opportunity and possibly the first one to buy this product. I'm a developer myself and I understand that this company is using Polly from Amazon to build what they did. I could do it myself, but chose to go to easy route. This is probably the 3rd or 4th text to speech I bought from Appsumo that supposedly offers API access, but when you go to the website, their API documentation is non existent and asks you to email them. I emailed them 4 days ago and no reply.

Frustrated that there's no reply I came back and kept looking to see if they respond to ANY questions... only then have I noticed that there's a 4th tier available in the dropdown and only when you select it, you see the API is offered on that tier - this wasn't obvious from the description or full read through of the deal.

The only mention of API on the product page simply says: "Thanks to our API support, we have developed strong partnerships with developers over time." so I assumed this one is for real. And since Polly offers 5 million characters per month for free for the first year and they charge $219 for 4% of that quota I figured that this must be it.

Lets do the math...
PAID tier of Polly is $4 for 1 million characters.
Tier 3 is 200k characters = $0.80 per month
It would take over 32 years to recoup the price of $219 dollars, and you're met with limitation, BUT you get the API, right? Nope, no API.

And on top of that the lack of response for 4 days makes me feel like that's the kind of support you'd get if something breaks. I can't possibly give this deal more than 2 tacos.

This software is ripping me off. Every time I change the AI voice and click "Voice selected line" without uploading a new project, it reduces my character counts. This is extremely frustrating, as it makes it very difficult to get an accurate representation of my work. I have to constantly keep track of how many characters I have left, and it's really cutting into my productivity. I would strongly recommend that they fix this as soon as possible, or else people should avoid it.

Just got my hands on it and created the first text-to-speech files.

I've used quite a few TTS tools before, but many of them don't have really good voices, especially if you are looking to create non-English media.

But not Voiser! I'm very happy with the results for German and looking forward to digging deeper with all the features it has to offer. Keep it up; well done!
