Q: Hello, I would like to know if your software is available in French.

Is the dashboard available in French?

My clientele is 89% French speaking.
The only 11% are of various languages.

So please tell me if your software works in French.

A: Thanks for reaching out and sharing more details about your friend's business. Your friend would be able to build a video survey in Voxpopme and send the link to his clients to take the survey and record their video replies. At the moment, the link would include Voxpopme in it as you can't use a custom domain at the time of writing. You could always use another platform like bit.ly to customize the link though.

A: Currently, we don't have the option for CNAME. Are you looking to whitelabel the surveys generated? This is a feature that should be released in coming weeks to allow you to add your own logo and colour scheme to surveys you launch

A: Hey Tara,

Thanks for following up too. So the max number of video questions per survey is 3 when starting from scratch for both of our AppSumo plans. However, you will notice there are some of our pre-templated surveys have 4 video questions by default. As these are the recommended survey setups, we do allow you to run those as they are.

And yes, at the time of writing, the max recording time is 60 seconds. We've tested a lot over the years, and this is a great length for getting rich insights from consumers.

These plans are mapped directly to our pro and team accounts. However, we threw in an extra 5 users into the tier 2 plan (the equivalent of pro) for Sumo-lings.

A: Hey Wocapi, thanks for asking. The cost is tied to the number of videos you can collect from the community. So it's more expensive on tier two because you can get significantly more video responses, which on our side incurs a larger cost base for incentivizing respondents. Hope that makes sense.

Q: So far Voxpopme is pretty cool.

I do have a few questions....

1) What do you mean by 'Target Audience"? I chose United States because I live here but most of my respondents would live in South America. Does that mean they cannot record their responses if they are from there?

2) I have a message "Awaiting Approval"...who does the approval and what is the process? It seems to take about 10-15 minutes to finish...

3) Very Important - Can we add our logo and customize the text on the Responses Page so we can make everything match up with out project? (The default text would never make sense to respondents for my use case)

Thanks for reaching out.

1. When using your own audience, selecting a target audience lets us know where your videos are most likely to be coming from which helps boost transcription accuracy. Please note, AppSumo deals currently offer English-only transcription so that’s worth bearing in mind for your study.

2. Can you please confirm whether it’s an individual video or a project that you’re waiting for approval on?

3. Custom branding is on its way and should be available in the next week (approx), so you will be able to add your own logo and colour scheme to your surveys soon. Custom thank you messages are on our list too, although timing of this is TBC. For now, you could fill in the redirect options to send users to a completely custom thank you page of your own (typically a landing page).

Q: Testing your tool now but I have some questions in here: 1) I selected a template but my question is why I ...

can't create my own questions and it was all prepared? I wanted to ask a different question than you had in any template.
2) 4 videos to be recorded. This is too much and I couldn't find any settings on how I can request only 1. Nobody would create 4 videos for 1 survey.
3) When a survey is done the only option we have is to add a redirect link. But how about images, videos, messages?
4) How can I manage more businesses? I own more companies and I have different teams etc. I didn't even find a workspace but I need a separate account to manage clients for example in an agency.
5) API and Webhook available? Because I couldn't find any native integration to send over some details we gather to any other tool like CRM etc.
6) Whitelabel like CNAME and domain?
7) I couldn't find any settings for branding to add a logo, favicon, our colours etc.
8) I found how we can create questions but that was found after we chose a template. When you are selecting the template you can't edit questions. So what happened is that I chose a project based on a template, recorded the first responses and then I was able to edit questions? Ahhhh it's too late I guess. We should be able to edit questions before a survey is published!
9) I didn't find the transcription promised on this deal.
10) I was browsing my responses in a project and my recorded videos pop out. Correct. Then I went to project details (different tab) check it out then went back to responses and ahhh all gone. Not to mention that previously is showed as "waiting for approval". For approval who, how?

I really had a high hope for this one but.....I don't know....

Thanks for following up. I think I slightly misunderstood your frustrations here, so let's give it another shot. I now understand your specific issue with access to declined responses, so I'd love to explain what happens here.

The declined response feature is built as a safety net to ensure you receive the best quality responses for the complete allowance you have in your plan. Essentially the responses are vetted by a stringent Q&A process for audio and visual quality, failure to answer all the questions, failure the answer the question asked, inappropriate content and more.

However, we don't delete videos that fail to meet our quality criteria - you just don't get charged for them against your monthly complete balance. We know there could still be lots to be learned from these videos e.g. if it's a poorly recorded video, but the audio is good, or if someone answered one question really well but didn't complete your full survey.

So you can access these videos by heading to advanced filters (top right in the responses view), selecting the drop-down button on the grey options bar, and selecting 'Declined' is 'True.'

A: Hey Isaac, Voxpopme's AppSumo LTDs are currently built for English-only surveys and transcription of responses. Currently, our extended language capabilities (45+ languages) are only available on our Enterprise plan.

That being said, if you want to write your survey questions in Spanish, it is possible using our start-from-scratch survey. But there are a couple of elements that would still appear in English, like the video recording instructions and auto thank-you message. Hope that helps.

Q: Hi, I would also need this for German.

The software and questionnaires are not as important to me as the transcription. So the question is:
1# is German available already for transcriptions?
#2 how far will translation go? Also surveys (maybe at a later stage, etc.)?

Voxpopme has the capability to translate both the surveys and the transcription into 45 languages. At the time of writing, this is available for our Enterprise plans only (available directly on our website) and not included in our AppSumo deals.

Q: I have a project that this might work well on.

Can i clarify if submissions can be longer than 1 minute, for this to work for me i would need up to 5 minutes per entry. Also, when you say XX entries per month is that in total or per user? I would be looking for maybe 200 entries in 1 month...

Q: Sumolings are from all over the world.

Limiting this deal to only english kills it for many of us.

I can't think why you limit languages only for entreprise plan and you don't bring that to all sumolings.

I was really interested on this, but... useless in english for my clients.
