A: Thanks for reaching out and sharing more details about your friend's business. Your friend would be able to build a video survey in Voxpopme and send the link to his clients to take the survey and record their video replies. At the moment, the link would include Voxpopme in it as you can't use a custom domain at the time of writing. You could always use another platform like bit.ly to customize the link though.
At the moment, Voxpopme is only available in English-only for our AppSumo deals. As noted elsewhere on the deals page, your feedback is very helpful, and we may look to add more languages to these deals in the future.

Thanks for following up too. So the max number of video questions per survey is 3 when starting from scratch for both of our AppSumo plans. However, you will notice there are some of our pre-templated surveys have 4 video questions by default. As these are the recommended survey setups, we do allow you to run those as they are.
And yes, at the time of writing, the max recording time is 60 seconds. We've tested a lot over the years, and this is a great length for getting rich insights from consumers.
I'd say the best way to get the maximum number of videos in your plan is to ask multiple video questions in your survey. 1 completed survey counts as 1 complete in your plan, whether you have 1, 2 or even 3 video questions for each person to answer in that survey.
So if you have 3 video questions in a survey going to 20 people, you could collect 60 video responses (3 per person) for 20 completes in your plan. Hopefully that helps you get more videos in your plan and helps service more of your clients.
Great tip! Follow-up questions.. A) What is the max number of questions asked per survey?, and B) What is the max length of the video answer length per question... ie. 60 seconds?

You can add the Influence Community to bolt-on to your plan. For Tier 1 plans, it's + $300 per month, and tier 2 plans it's +$750.
Unfortunately, we can't offer discounts on this community for any of our users as it costs us to recruit, maintain, incentivize and grow this community, and therefore the cost of video responses is greater to our business. Hope you can understand.
To embed your video onto your site, you'll need to add your favorite clips to a showreel (see instructions here - https://voxpopme.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360030384334)
Once you've built your showreel, you can then hit generate showreel and then hit share to grab the embed code (or use any of the other sharing options).
So for a higher Tier, which would be more beneficent, it is even more expensive :D Oh well... What's the difference between those Tiers in terms of community addon? Which features that cost even like 2x more?

I do have a few questions....
1) What do you mean by 'Target Audience"? I chose United States because I live here but most of my respondents would live in South America. Does that mean they cannot record their responses if they are from there?
2) I have a message "Awaiting Approval"...who does the approval and what is the process? It seems to take about 10-15 minutes to finish...
3) Very Important - Can we add our logo and customize the text on the Responses Page so we can make everything match up with out project? (The default text would never make sense to respondents for my use case)
1. When using your own audience, selecting a target audience lets us know where your videos are most likely to be coming from which helps boost transcription accuracy. Please note, AppSumo deals currently offer English-only transcription so that’s worth bearing in mind for your study.
2. Can you please confirm whether it’s an individual video or a project that you’re waiting for approval on?
3. Custom branding is on its way and should be available in the next week (approx), so you will be able to add your own logo and colour scheme to your surveys soon. Custom thank you messages are on our list too, although timing of this is TBC. For now, you could fill in the redirect options to send users to a completely custom thank you page of your own (typically a landing page).

Thanks for following up. I think I slightly misunderstood your frustrations here, so let's give it another shot. I now understand your specific issue with access to declined responses, so I'd love to explain what happens here.
The declined response feature is built as a safety net to ensure you receive the best quality responses for the complete allowance you have in your plan. Essentially the responses are vetted by a stringent Q&A process for audio and visual quality, failure to answer all the questions, failure the answer the question asked, inappropriate content and more.
However, we don't delete videos that fail to meet our quality criteria - you just don't get charged for them against your monthly complete balance. We know there could still be lots to be learned from these videos e.g. if it's a poorly recorded video, but the audio is good, or if someone answered one question really well but didn't complete your full survey.
So you can access these videos by heading to advanced filters (top right in the responses view), selecting the drop-down button on the grey options bar, and selecting 'Declined' is 'True.'
I hope that answers your question a little more clearly but feel free to reach out to us on here or at support@voxpopme.com if you'd like any assistance locating those declined responses.

The templates are ready-to-launch templates designed by our team of survey experts. Editing is limited by design as these are currently best-practice studies. However, you can create your own surveys with full control over all your questions by selecting the ‘start from scratch’ template in our platform. That being said, we are currently exploring the addition of edit options to templates too.
✅ 2) 4 videos to be recorded. This is too much and I couldn't find any settings on how I can request only 1. Nobody would create 4 videos for 1 survey.
The ‘start from scratch’ template is the best way to create a fully custom video survey. By choosing this option you can choose how many or few video questions you have.
✅ 3) When a survey is done the only option we have is to add a redirect link. But how about images, videos, messages?
At the moment, if you do not opt for a redirect link, your users will be shown a default thank-you message for completing your survey. Custom messages are being considered by our engineering team at the moment so hopefully that’s something we can bring to the AppSumo community soon.

Multiple Company Accounts are currently only available on Voxpopme’s enterprise accounts. AppSumo deals are for single account purchases so in order to have an account for each of your businesses, you would need to purchase more than one AppSumo deal. Alternatively you could keep all you projects in one account but use a simple naming convention to differentiate which company each project is for. You could even set up project folders to organize them.

There isn’t currently native CRM integrations but you can pass additional data with videos by using dynamic URL parameters in your survey invite link to pass data like name, email, CRM ID etc.

Whitelabeling of accounts is available for Enterprise plans (for an additional cost), and is unfortunately not included within our AppSumo LTDs. CNAME is not currently available but we will share this request internally for consideration in the future.

We’d love to troubleshoot this with you. Could you reach out to support@voxpopme.com as we’d love to explore why the transcription isn’t showing for you. Transcription is an essential step in our analysis process so it should be visible on all your videos. By default all of our videos go through a QA process to ensure your videos are usable in the system. Once this has been completed transcription will be available on the video.

Our video responses are quality-checked by reviewers to ensure the responses are of visual and audio quality and answer the question asked. So if you recorded a test response, it will have likely been declined so that it doesn’t get marked as a complete.
Point 10) How come you can access our account and decline our survey? This is against GDPR, Privacy Policy and so on. It's our survey, our customers, our data and you should not have any single access to that!
Saying that means you clearly breaks a GDPR law and ANY local Privacy Act!

A: Hey Isaac, Voxpopme's AppSumo LTDs are currently built for English-only surveys and transcription of responses. Currently, our extended language capabilities (45+ languages) are only available on our Enterprise plan.
That being said, if you want to write your survey questions in Spanish, it is possible using our start-from-scratch survey. But there are a couple of elements that would still appear in English, like the video recording instructions and auto thank-you message. Hope that helps.
The software and questionnaires are not as important to me as the transcription. So the question is: 1# is German available already for transcriptions? #2 how far will translation go? Also surveys (maybe at a later stage, etc.)?

For the other question, that is the total number of completes for an account. So in the tier 2, you would get 125 survey completes, shared between your set of users. However, surveys can have multiple video questions and a respondent must answer all questions to count as a complete. So with your 125 survey completes you can actually collect a lot more videos.

Showreels are really easy to create in Voxpopme. While reviewing videos, you can. add any clip you want to a showreel by highlighting any part of its transcript and hitting add to showreel. Continue adding as many clips as you wish to your showreel.
When you’ve collated your content, head to the Showreel Editor, and select the showreel you’ve created. Then you can begin fine-tuning clips with the audio waveform and overlay captions and subtitles. Plus you can add in text, images, backing tracks, and more to brand your showreel and give it a professional finish.
I am very interested in this deal but couldn't do it without being able to use it in Japanese. Looks like a fantastic platform. I hope you'll consider adding other languages to the Appsumo deal.

Thanks for following up. I think I slightly misunderstood your frustrations here, so let's give it another shot. I now understand your specific issue with access to declined responses, so I'd love to explain what happens here.
The declined response feature is built as a safety net to ensure you receive the best quality responses for the complete allowance you have in your plan. Essentially the responses are vetted by a stringent Q&A process for audio and visual quality, failure to answer all the questions, failure the answer the question asked, inappropriate content and more.
However, we don't delete videos that fail to meet our quality criteria - you just don't get charged for them against your monthly complete balance. We know there could still be lots to be learned from these videos e.g. if it's a poorly recorded video, but the audio is good, or if someone answered one question really well but didn't complete your full survey.
So you can access these videos by heading to advanced filters (top right in the responses view), selecting the drop-down button on the grey options bar, and selecting 'Declined' is 'True.'

Testing your tool now but I have some questions in here:
✅ 1) I selected a template but my question is why I can't create my own questions and it was all prepared? I wanted to ask a different question than you had in any template.
The templates are ready-to-launch templates designed by our team of survey experts. Editing is limited by design as these are currently best-practice studies. However, you can create your own surveys with full control over all your questions by selecting the ‘start from scratch’ template in our platform. That being said, we are currently exploring the addition of edit options to templates too.
✅ 2) 4 videos to be recorded. This is too much and I couldn't find any settings on how I can request only 1. Nobody would create 4 videos for 1 survey.
The ‘start from scratch’ template is the best way to create a fully custom video survey. By choosing this option you can choose how many or few video questions you have.
✅ 3) When a survey is done the only option we have is to add a redirect link. But how about images, videos, messages?
At the moment, if you do not opt for a redirect link, your users will be shown a default thank-you message for completing your survey. Custom messages are being considered by our engineering team at the moment so hopefully that’s something we can bring to the AppSumo community soon.

Multiple Company Accounts are currently only available on Voxpopme’s enterprise accounts. AppSumo deals are for single account purchases so in order to have an account for each of your businesses, you would need to purchase more than one AppSumo deal. Alternatively you could keep all you projects in one account but use a simple naming convention to differentiate which company each project is for. You could even set up project folders to organize them.

There isn’t currently native CRM integrations but you can pass additional data with videos by using dynamic URL parameters in your survey invite link to pass data like name, email, CRM ID etc.

Whitelabeling of accounts is available for Enterprise plans (for an additional cost), and is unfortunately not included within our AppSumo LTDs. CNAME is not currently available but we will share this request internally for consideration in the future.

We’d love to troubleshoot this with you. Could you reach out to support@voxpopme.com as we’d love to explore why the transcription isn’t showing for you. Transcription is an essential step in our analysis process so it should be visible on all your videos. By default all of our videos go through a QA process to ensure your videos are usable in the system. Once this has been completed transcription will be available on the video.

Our video responses are quality-checked by reviewers to ensure the responses are of visual and audio quality and answer the question asked. So if you recorded a test response, it will have likely been declined so that it doesn’t get marked as a complete.

How come you can access our account and decline our survey? This is against GDPR, Privacy Policy and so on. It's our survey, our customers, our data and you should not have any single access to that!
Saying that means you clearly breaks a GDPR law and ANY local Privacy Act!

May 15, 2024A: Hey Isaac, Voxpopme's AppSumo LTDs are currently built for English-only surveys and transcription of responses. Currently, our extended language capabilities (45+ languages) are only available on our Enterprise plan.
That being said, if you want to write your survey questions in Spanish, it is possible using our start-from-scratch survey. But there are a couple of elements that would still appear in English, like the video recording instructions and auto thank-you message. Hope that helps.

Thanks for asking. At the moment, each video response is limited to 1-minute, but you can ask multiple video questions in the same survey to get more context from each respondent.
For the other question, that is the total number of completes for an account. So in the tier 2, you would get 125 survey completes, shared between your set of users. However, surveys can have multiple video questions and a respondent must answer all questions to count as a complete. So with your 125 survey completes you can actually collect a lot more videos.

Showreels are really easy to create in Voxpopme. While reviewing videos, you can. add any clip you want to a showreel by highlighting any part of its transcript and hitting add to showreel. Continue adding as many clips as you wish to your showreel.
When you’ve collated your content, head to the Showreel Editor, and select the showreel you’ve created. Then you can begin fine-tuning clips with the audio waveform and overlay captions and subtitles. Plus you can add in text, images, backing tracks, and more to brand your showreel and give it a professional finish.
Can you let us select a second language? For instance, english and one more? I need to use the tool in Portuguese. Please, consider this.
I am very interested in this deal but couldn't do it without being able to use it in Japanese. Looks like a fantastic platform. I hope you'll consider adding other languages to the Appsumo deal.
